| Eagle Lake Sporting Camps | Phone: (207)444-5108 |
The Eagle Lake Sporting Camps are remotely situated in northern Maine on the beautiful 20-mile-long Eagle Lake. The lake is part of the Fish River Chain of lakes which stretches sixty miles through splendid forest almost to the Canadian border. It surpasses in primeval beauty and grandeur many of the better known woodland and lakes of Maine. The Camps are locate on a peninsula, seven miles up the Lake from Eagle Lake Village, at the mouth of Square Lake thoroughfare and in the midst of a 23,000 acre wilderness reserve. They are on a high knoll amoung beautiful white birches, facing the lake in a southwesterly direction. The view from the Camps is magnificent; lake and forest blend; ridge upon ridge looms up, until finally Three Brooks Mountain caps in the distance.
